two roses bloomed
on this Saturday morning
while, upon the rocks where the sea crashed hardest,
a seagull in a raincoat of feathers
carried two lumps of adrenaline in its beak
seasoned by the wind to the perfect saltiness
with the power of hormones,
past and future
were erased from my mind at once;
only this fleeting present remained,
in which your timeless body
took possession of mine
I do not know how you arrived;
in the vastness of the oceanic world,
your presence was a profound upheaval
from the void, a volcanic island was born for us,
and there we made, now and for the moment
our home within the shiver of our skin.
