Confieso que en la última comida de empresa, mientras los comensales hablaban, estuve ordenando alfabéticamente sus nombres

Juro que dentro de mí aún suena el grito de alegría de la infancia ante las posibilidades que ofrece una rama rota en el suelo

También resuena la exclamación asombrada  por el tesoro que el sol descubre en el nácar de una concha 

*

Quizás, pueda ser que aún no todo estea perdido

I confess that at the last company meal I was alphabetically arranging the names of those present while they were talking

I swear that within me still resonates the cry of joy of childhood at the possibilities offered by a broken branch on the ground

It also vibrates the amazed exclamation at the treasure that the sun discovers in the mother-of-pearl of a shell 

*

Perhaps, it may be that not all is lost yet
