I guess they're beech trees, the hedge
bushes -- just captive trees. despite
the pruning shears they stubbornly maintain an independent behaviour
they don't just insist on growing
outside that parallelepiped
rationally prescribed but
in rebellion, they refuse
to let go its dry leaves
they await bitterly
and in the spring
